Shot in the ocean waters surrounding the Canary Islands, in late 2022, the series explores our connection to nature through the lens of freediving.

Amos Tversky and Daniel Kahneman taught us that framing a belief or truth can undermine or enforce its validity. On land, the scenery frames our existence, our sense of self, who we are and what we can achieve. Our truth.

Below water, the framing changes, our mental and physical vulnerabilities are tested. The experience, if endured for long enough, leads to new truths where the industrialised eye can once again see nature as a teacher, asking us to reflect on whether we're the ‘pinnacle of evolution’ or the ones with the least experience and the most to learn.
