A photographic study of balance. Light, dark, positive, negative, good, bad, all simultaneously in a state of harmony and conflict.

Using Sicily as a canvas, set against a historical backdrop of the rise of the Cosa Nostra, Our Thing explores the dichotomy of balance through everyday occurrences on the island.

Focusing on structures that protect and control, defend and destroy. Developments that enhance whilst they also extort. Freedoms from authority that free one from opportunity. Offering a level of acceptance often not afforded by a ridged moral compass.
